Ariya Vihara Wesak Day 2024
Wesak, also known as “Buddha Day” falls on the full moon of Vesākha Month, this year on 22 May 2024, Wednesday in Malaysia. This day commemorates three important events of Gotama Buddha’s life – his Birth, Enlightenment (Buddhahood) and Passing Away (Mahāparinibbāna). This auspicious day reminds us to renew our faith in the Buddha and his Enlightenment, to emulate his determination and diligence in overcoming all obstacles and sufferings, and to finally attain the bliss of Enlightenment.
Ariya Vihara’s Wesak Celebration will be held at 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐊𝐄𝐍 TTDI, KL with the theme “Making More Merits”. We warmly invite all devotees to join us on this joyous day and welcome all to take part in these various activities throughout the day:
• Meet the Saṅgha and receive blessings
• Bathing of Baby Siddhartha
• Offering of Light
• Offering of Robes & Requisites to the Saṅgha
• Dāna for the Ariya Building Fund & Sutta Plates
• Offer Dāna to the Saṅgha

• Children Wesak Program
• Free Vegetarian lunch (from 12noon to 1pm)
