Dr. Jolly Koh is a prime mover of modern art in Malaysia. His paintings are renowned for their refined surface quality, created with forceful brushwork and radiant colors that evoke movement and atmosphere. Born in Singapore, grew up in Malacca, he was educated in the finest traditions of art in Britain and the United States. He won a Fulbright scholarship to study at the Indian University in the United States, completing his Doctor of Education in 1975 and Master of Science in 1973.
